RRB Railway Paramedical Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Dietician:

  • B.Sc. in Science with a Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics (one-year course) from an accredited institution, along with 3 months of internship training in a hospital; or
  • B.Sc. in Home Science followed by an M.Sc. in Home Science (Food and Nutrition) from a recognized institution.

Dental Hygienist:

  • A degree in Science (Biology) from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification; and
  • A Diploma or Certificate Course (2 years) in Dental Hygiene from an institution recognized by the Dental Council of India; and
  • Registration with the Dental Council of India as a Dental Hygienist; and
  • Two years of experience as a Dental Hygienist.

Dialysis Technician:

  • B.Sc. degree plus a Diploma in Haemodialysis; or
  • Two years of satisfactory in-house training or experience in Haemodialysis at a reputable institution (document proof required).

Health & Malaria Inspector Gr III:

  • B.Sc. with Chemistry as a main or optional subject; and
  • A one-year Diploma in Health/Sanitary Inspection; or
  • A one-year National Trade Certificate (NTC) in Health Sanitary Inspection awarded by the National Council for Vocational Training, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.

Lab Superintendent Gr III:

  • B.Sc. with Bio-Chemistry, Micro Biology, Life Science, or Chemistry and Biology as main or optional subjects plus a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or an equivalent qualification; or
  • B.Sc. in Medical Technology (Laboratory) from a recognized institution.

Perfusionist:

  • B.Sc. with a Diploma in Perfusion Technology; or
  • B.Sc. with three years of experience as a Cardio Pulmonary Pump Technician in a recognized hospital.

Physiotherapist Grade II:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized university; and
  • Two years of practical experience in Physiotherapy from a government or private hospital with at least 100 beds.

Radiographer X-Ray Technician:

  • 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry and a Diploma in Radiography/X-Ray Technician/Radiodiagnosis Technology (2-year course) from a recognized institution. Preference will be given to science graduates with a Diploma in Radiography/X-Ray Technician/Radiodiagnosis Technology (2-year course).

Speech Therapist:

  • B.Sc. and a Diploma in Audio and Speech Therapy; and
  • Two years of experience in the relevant field.

Cardiac Technician:

Optometrist:

  • B.Sc. in Optometry or a Diploma in Ophthalmic Technician (3 to 4 years duration). The candidate should be registered with the relevant Council or Licensing body.

ECG Technician:

  • 10+2 or a Graduation in Science with a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in ECG Laboratory Technology/Cardiology/ECG Technician from a reputable institution.

Lab Assistant Grade II:

  • 12th grade (10+2) in Science plus:
    • A Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT); or
    • A Certificate Course in Medical Laboratory Technology equivalent to a DMLT, provided that:
      • The course was completed at an institution recognized by a University or Technical Board of State/Central Government;
      • The course duration was at least one year;
      • The training was conducted on a full-time basis;
      • The course concluded with an examination that the candidate successfully passed.
